At US FOODS , our CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers start with a base hourly rate of $32.43 per hour. Once component pay begins, compensation shifts to a structure based on miles, cases, and stops, with hourly pay provided for any downtime. Main Ingredients of the Job

• Lead with safety at the forefront
• Local and Layover routes available ( routes are bid by driver tenure )
• Orders are single pallet picked so no digging at deliveries.
• Customer orders are selected on plastic pallets
• For ease of unloading all route trailers are equipped with liftgates
• All routes are dispatched with assigned powered pallet jacks
• Tractors and route trailers are assigned by driver tenure
• All delivery routes start between the hours of 5 : 00PM and 10 : 00PM
• 4- and 5-day schedules available with consecutive days off
• 5 th and 6 th day extra work is available with paid incentives
• Perform backhauls and shuttles as required
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• All other tasks as requested by management

Compensation depends on relevant experience and / or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The anticipated pay structure includes a base hourly rate of $32.43 per hour. Once component pay begins, hourly pay is replaced with compensation based on miles, cases, and stops. Additionally, hourly pay will be provided for any downtime.
