The Associate Controls Engineer role at Mikron Automation is ideal for early-career professionals eager to contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance automation platforms. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to develop and refine custom assembly solutions that support life-saving pharmaceutical and medical technologies, as well as the automotive and consumer goods industries.

Duties

• Product Knowledge – Develop foundational understanding of Mikron products, platforms, and engineering standards through training and hands-on experience.
• Design - Assist in the design and integration of automation components, systems, or software under the guidance of experienced engineers and team leads.
• Fine-Tune & Testing - Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and debug activities during development, build, and commissioning phases.
• Customer & Project Interaction - Attend internal and customer-facing meetings, design reviews, and acceptance tests to understand requirements and contribute to project success under the direction of project managers.
• Tools & Systems - Utilize engineering tools and systems (e.g., CAD, PDM, PLC / HMI software, vision platforms) to support design, documentation, and testing.
• Documentation & Standards - Create and maintain engineering documentation (e.g., drawings, BOMs, specifications) in accordance with project and company standards.
• Compliance & Safety - Follow all safety protocols, engineering and industry standards, and company policies in daily work activities.
• Support & Flexibility - Provide support across project phases including design, build, validation, installation, and post-installation service. Perform additional duties as assigned.
