As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the hands-on oversight of a maintenance team that safely and efficiently supports a 24 / 7 manufacturing environment. The Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, assigning, and overseeing day to day maintenance work, performing a variety of responsible duties related to the supervision of maintenance activities, as well as train, supervise, and evaluate the work of employees. This is a highly collaborative position and requires strong organizational, planning, follow-up, and communication skills.

What you get to do :

• Identify, modify, adjust, and repair mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts and equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings or diagrams including blueprints, schematics, and mechanical renditions.
• Utilize a variety of power tools, hand tools, gauging and measuring equipment safely and correctly
• Participate in purchasing maintenance materials and outside technical services in accordance with established company protocol and procedures.
• Assist in the establishment and implementation of systematic preventative maintenance program with the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.
• Investigate equipment failures and unexpected breakdowns. Provide corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
• Monitor parts requests to ensure adequate inventory and cost efficiencies are being met according to departmental budget.
• Lead Maintenance related CI (continuous improvement) tasks reporting back to management with status updates.
• Facilitate selection of appropriate resources (contractors, suppliers, etc.) to minimize costs and assure on time and on budget completion.
• Ensure, enforce, and adhere to all legislative requirements.
• Constantly enhance the motivation and team-spirit of all operation staff.
• Minimize the risk of accidents and pollution.
