The Field Service Manager is a Group Leader role, with responsibility for overseeing a group of Field Service Engineers at a particular site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team of field service engineers performing calibration and maintenance service on a wide range of instruments, from pipettes and balances to plate readers, GC's, HPLC's and UPLC's.
• Work with CCM Regional Director to implement and manage performance management of staff, including ensuring that individual FSE's are trained, set appropriate goals and have a clear understanding of the expectations for their roles and career progression.
• Alongside the Regional Director, manage recruiting and hiring of new staff to the team.
• Ensure that service personnel are properly resourced to deliver quality service.
• Assist in scheduling of work orders and manage any scheduling conflicts with both personnel and clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in their territory.
• Adhere to environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Effectively communicate with clients and other internal and external parties.
• Follow Eurofins work policies and all applicable SOPs. Ensure that training on both remains current.
• Maintain client confidentiality, specifically if information about the customer is obtained from sources other than the customer (e.g. complainant, assessors).
• Act impartially within the management system.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, M-F 8am-4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. 25% travel may be required. No relocation assistance will be given. This position is NOT remote.
