As a Tool Service Technician (Service Tech I), you'll use your skills to perform manual and maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs of specialty tools in a safe and professional manner. What you'll do :

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use
• Report machine condition to Management
• Load and unload equipment while complying with DOT regulations for height, width and weight
• Clean all tools and prepare new equipment for rent or sale
• Demonstrate tools for customers
• Perform minor repairs of rental equipment and tools including electrical, calibration, certification, and tagging of tools for rental ready status
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Provide assistance to higher level technicians as needed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Other duties assigned as needed

As a Climate Solutions Tech (Service Tech I) within the Power / HVAC division at United Rentals, you'll use your skills to perform jobsite installations as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible for safely operating the delivery vehicle and installing HVAC equipment, and dehumidification / air purification equipment at customer locations.
