Description :

5A Surgical ACE is a 32-bed unit.

The population includes adult and older adult patients.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 5.

The unit cares for trauma patients.

Heparin drips and all acute medications are administered as ordered.

Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.

Specialty equipment includes gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment.

Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or prior NICHE training is a plus.
