About the Role

This internship is for Summer 2026. Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Experience Analyst Intern to support our Customer Experience team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in business operations, process improvement, and customer experience strategy with exposure to cross-functional teams across the organization. The intern will assist with data analysis, documentation, training resource updates, and process optimization efforts while learning how operational excellence drives customer satisfaction.

This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about customer experience, business analytics, and operational efficiency in the building products industry.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Customer Experience team by gathering and analyzing data across channels (phone, email, CRM) to identify trends.
  • Assist in documenting workflows and researching opportunities for process automation and efficiency.
  • Help update training materials, onboarding guides, and maintain the Customer Experience SharePoint site.
  • Participate in meetings with internal teams and external partners to observe collaboration and communication best practices.
  • Contribute to special projects focused on improving customer experience and internal processes.
  • Provide administrative and project support to ensure smooth day-to-day team operations.

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Interest in customer experience, process improvement, operations, or data analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset with eagerness to learn.
  • Prior internship, school project, or work experience in customer experience, operations, or analytics preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM, BI, or collaboration tools preferred.
