Surgery physician job in California : Locums General Surgeon Mt. Shasta, CA24-Hour Call | Must Perform Scopes | Level III Trauma | December Coverage Coverage Dates

December 29 & 30, 2025

Shift : 24-hour in-house call (7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 AM) Setting & Facility Info

Hospital-Based

Trauma Level : III

Call Structure : Single ED call schedule

EMR : Cerner Duties & Case Types

100% ED call coverage

Must have Full General Surgery + Trauma privileges

Endoscopy required No local GI support

Typical scope volume : 02 per week (variable)

Trauma cases include :

Car accidents (Interstate 5 + rural roads)

Stabbings, shootings

Quads, motorcycles, horses, swimming injuries Requirements

Board Certified (or Board Eligible within 35 years of residency) Required

California License Required

DEA & ATLS Required

ATLS accepted if previously certified Additional Info
