You develop principle routing into detailed piping, including creating ISO's and spools.

You occasionally place or modify models.

You prepare details, modifications, and drawings in Microstation

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a Piping Designer Shipbuilding?

You have experience with Cadmatic.

You have strong knowledge of piping design and detailing.

European nationality because of military projects.

Additional Role Information

We are also looking for an engineer to join our shipbuilding client in The Netherlands. As an engineer, you will :

  • Meticulously scrutinize every ship system to create tailored maintenance plans that drive peak performance.
  • Learn how to analyze maritime risks (RAM and FMECA calculations) to help avoid breakdowns during military operations, contributing to mission success.
  • Work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that every part, spare, and tool is in the right place at the right time.

    During the lifecycle of a military ship, it is vital that all installations and systems are continuously up-and-running.

    What do we offer you as a technical author shipbuilding?

  • In return for your hard work, we offer you a € salary based on experience and education.
  • We offer you sliding hours (7u-9u). You can start between these hours.
  • If relocation is needed, we provide help to search for affordable accommodation.

    • As a technical author, you will :

  • Prepare technical documents in a structured framework, according to prescribed formats.
  • Collect logistic information from texts, drawings, diagrams, lists, specifications, manuals, 3D models, P&IDs, colleagues, and reports.
  • Create system-level documentation based on input from the Engineering team.
  • Modify illustrations to enhance documentation clarity.
  • Input information into software systems in compliance with international standards S1000D and S2000M.
