Job Description

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a local contract nursing job in Thousand Oaks, California.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Discipline : RN
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 8 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Local Contract
  • Number of Beds – 3 Cath / EP / Hybrid / Structural Heart rooms
  • Number of Staff –  3 per room
  • Type of staff : RNs and Rad Techs

Day Shift – 6 : 30 : 5 : 00

  • Night Shift – on call only
  • Patient Ratios – 3 per case
  • Type of equipment – GE and Philips labs, Mac Lab / Cardiolab
  • EMR - Meditech
  • Typical Procedures :

    • Left / Right heart caths, angioplasty / stent; IVUS, ICE, atherectomy

  • Atrial Fib Ablations, Micra’s ICDs, PM, Lead extraction
  • Structural Heart : TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid, LAAC (Watchman) PFO / ASD
  • Floating : May assist in the Pre / Post care area called Cardiovascular Observation Unit
  • Weekends / Call : 1 Weekend / Month, 1 night call per week

    • Must Haves : \n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred\n- A recent 12 months of Cath Lab RN experience in an acute hospital setting\n- Cath Lab Circulating experience\n- CA RN License\n- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certifications\n\nPreferred or Nice to Have : \n- Mac Lab / Cardiolab experience\n- MediTech Experience\n- Travel Experience\n
