Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Front-End UI Engineer to join our Product Innovation Team. This position is a hybrid position, with a preference for candidates located in Northern California, New York or Stamford Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of our centralized UI / UX Team, bringing cross company branding and identity to a global level across our security product user interfaces.
• Daily / weekly collaboration with teammates : engineer standups, team meetings, 1 : 1, development demos, sprint planning, UX design scrub meetings.
• Experience with WCAG Accessibility Standards 2.2 Level AA.
• Build, debug and maintain scalable, responsive, quality front-end solutions following best practices that function effectively across a variety of platforms and devices.
• HTML5, CSS / SASS (or comparable CSS preprocessor), Bootstrap, JavaScript and / or JS Frameworks such as React.js / Jest.
• On-hands experience with UX Designers. Knowledge of Figma (or alternative) bridging the gap between design and development. Implementing high-fidelity designs transformed into smooth, intuitive, easy-to-use journeys in our user interfaces.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI development tools to streamline work and time management.
• Comfortable using Git for version control and Webpack for automation tasks.
• Experience working with design systems and understanding the fundamentals and importance of this ecosystem.
• Testing and debugging at all stages of the SDLC.
• Participate in code review and open-brainstorm sessions.
• Help in facilitation of JIRA scrum tasks following agile methodologies.
• Familiarity working with REST APIs and JSON.
