Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting in El Reno, OK. The position is structured as a contract role for the 2023-2024 school year, allowing for impactful collaboration with students, educators, and support staff to enhance student development and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to the needs of K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document and report progress in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in meetings and contribute to planning processes to support student success
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
Desired Qualifications and Experience :
Valid occupational therapy licensure in OklahomaExperience providing OT services in educational settings, preferably in K-12 schoolsStrong communication and teamwork skills for effective interdisciplinary collaborationAbility to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and education environmentsFamiliarity with educational laws, IDEA, and school-based therapy protocolsLocation :
