Job Details

  • Compensation : Up to $22 / hour, Converting at $45,000 / year
  • Type : Contract to Hire
  • 100% Remote, local candidates preferred
  • Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop working knowledge of mission, services, people, organization, policies, and procedures, especially those specific to the IS office.
  • Answer high volume of phone calls and perform triage to direct call to appropriate team.
  • Triage incoming email, chats, and service tickets routing them to the appropriate team.
  • Learn various aspects of organization through technology training, hands-on learning, cross-training, and site visits.
  • Assist in the creation and management of policies, practices, and procedures related to Information Services.
  • Develop and / or coordinate articles for the bulletin as requested.
  • Draft and distribute professional announcements and training documents as requested.
  • Manage various office-specific reports and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Collaborate and work effectively with other IT Service Desk members.
  • Provide support to admin team for special projects, employee engagement, and team building activities.
  • Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions / attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff, 0-3240.
  • Conduct behavior in a professional manner.
  • Must maintain the highest customer service standards within all aspects of the position.
  • Perform related duties, or as required or requested by Supervisor.
  • Job Requirements

  • Four-year college degree required.
  • Demonstrate a record of strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have exemplary customer service phone skills.
  • Proficient in basic PC skills required to perform job functions, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience in a high call volume environment preferred.
