job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEstablish and monitor quality control standards for cleanliness and infection prevention. Conduct regular inspections of patient care and public areas to ensure compliance with standards. Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and approve supply and equipment purchases. Evaluate and recommend products, equipment, and service enhancements to improve performance and efficiency. Coordinate with Infection Control and other departments on product selection, safety, and transition planning. Prepare reports related to productivity, quality, and performance metrics. Provide backup support for environmental service requests, prioritizing and dispatching staff as needed. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and respect within the department. Maintain open communication with leadership and staff to ensure clarity, consistency, and collaboration. Drives Results : Consistently delivers on commitments and outcomes. Customer Focus : Builds strong relationships and ensures customer-centric solutions. Instills Trust : Demonstrates integrity, authenticity, and reliability. Minimum of two (2) years of management or supervisory experience in housekeeping / environmental services required. Healthcare experience within the past three years required. Certification in Environmental Services or related field preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated leadership and team development skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and make data-informed decisions. Knowledge of infection control standards, regulatory compliance, and safety practices. Work occurs in patient and non-patient care areas; may involve exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Requires mobility to walk or stand for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, union agreements, and applicable regulations.
