About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory Therapy

Specialty : PICU and NICU

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 hours

Hours per Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM

Experience : 2 years in both PICU and NICU required

License : Virginia License required

Certifications : BLS, NRP, and PALS required

Must-Have : RRT or CRT accepted

Description :

BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required.

RRT or CRT credentials are accepted.

Two years of experience in both PICU and NICU are required.

Pediatric experience is not acceptable.

A Virginia license is required.

Workload is dependent on RVU, with 580 minutes assigned out of a 720-minute shift.

ICUs may have a similar assignment, but RVU allocation could be higher.

The schedule includes every other weekend shifts.

Floating outside of the assigned ICU to general care areas throughout the campus may be required.

On-call expectations are not applicable.

Holiday expectations include one major and one minor holiday.

Epic access is needed for this position.
