📝 Position Overview

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a compassionate and driven Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 46-bed Medical-Surgical unit. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment in Brooksville, FL , providing high-quality, patient-centered care in one of Florida’s fastest-growing communities.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition upon admission and throughout each shift
  • Implement medical provider orders and document patient care accurately and promptly
  • Administer medications and monitor patient response, intervening as needed
  • Anticipate and respond to patient and family needs to ensure excellent care experience
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and deliver optimal patient outcomes

    • 📚 Qualifications

  • License : Registered Nurse (RN) – Florida or compact state
  • Education : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Certifications :

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of hire

  • Experience : Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required

    • LTACH, Rehab, and Home Health RN experience considered

  • Other Requirements : Must attend on-site interviews

  • Unit Type : Medical & Overflow Post-Surgical (Some Telemetry, Some Oncology cases)
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 6
  • Beds : 46

    • 💲 Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay : $30.76 – $41.50 / hr (based on years of experience)
  • Night Shift Differential : +$4.75 / hr
  • Weekend Differential : +$3.00 / hr
  • National Certification Differential : +$2.00 / hr
  • Sign-On Bonus :

    • Days : $10,000

  • Nights : $15,000
  • 2% paid on 1st / 2nd check; remainder paid in 6-month increments
