Role Description

This is a Monday-Friday, full-time on-site Diesel Mechanic position located in Moorhead, MN . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role involves working with various types of diesel engines and requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Additional responsibilities would include performing day-to-day tasks such as maintaining, assembling and repairing various equipment / vehicles as part of a team while following the instructions of a supervisor to ensure successful outcomes. Opportunities for advancement are available!

Monday-Thursday hours would be roughly 7am-5pm while Friday hours would be roughly 7am-3pm. Pay ranges between $35-50 / hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
• Assemble and disassemble machinery and equipment
• Conduct diagnostics to identify issues and propose solutions
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for repair tasks
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary for engine repairs and vehicle servicing
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles for record-keeping
