Job Title :

  • Program Assistant    Exemption Status : Exempt  Reports To : Program Director  Salary : 45K-50K  General Description  The Program Assistant is a member of the Learning Community Center of North Omaha Parent University team.
  • This individual is expected to perform a diverse, detail oriented and advanced set of administrative tasks related to the smooth operations of Parent University.

This individual is also expected to greet and excel in interacting with staff and visitors.   Essential Job Duties  Provide administrative support to the Program Director, including managing calls, emails, mail, and greeting visitors.  Coordinate the Director’s calendar and support scheduling needs for the team as requested.  Enter and manage data in the program database; generate reports as needed.  Maintain office supplies, order materials, and prepare meeting spaces.  Develop and maintain organized filing and office systems.  Prepare presentations, reports, meeting minutes, and other communications.  Ensure access to key information for smooth program operations.  Support logistics, including transporting program materials as needed.  Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff.  Perform other duties as assigned.  Self-Management and Leadership  Communicates effectively with a positive, professional attitude.  Works collaboratively and goes above and beyond to find solutions.  Adapts well to changing priorities and project needs.  Follows through on commitments and meets deadlines consistently.  Maintains reliable attendance and a professional appearance.  Takes initiative and contributes innovative ideas.  Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and adherence to policies.  Strives for excellence in all tasks and responsibilities.  Minimum Requirements  High School Diploma / GED required with at least 2 years’ experience in related field   Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills  Professional and positive demeanor   Ability to establish priorities, follow-through on tasks and meet deadlines   Ability to attend workshops, meetings and / or in-services  Ability to work independently, organizing time, details but committed to the team function  Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel      Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance with good driving record   Flexible schedule (may occasionally work some evenings and weekends)  Equipment Needed  The following equipment will be provided to support the responsibilities of this position :
