What you will do
- Act as a key focal point between engineering and manufacturing teams — supporting product validation, defining test requirements, and leading the development of a scalable production test strategy.
- Specify, source, commission, and maintain both manual and automated test equipment (ATE).
- Drive the growth of test capability and capacity as we ramp to full-rate production, ensuring test systems meet increasing throughput while maintaining reliability, compliance, and quality.
- Develop formal test procedures, instrumentation plans, test stand / fixture designs, data acquisition architectures, and any other necessary tools to allow for thorough and repeatable testing.
- Ensure and confirm that data collected during tests are accurate and complete.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related technical field3+ years of experienceExperience in production or environmental testing of electronic systemsStrong experience with HASS, HALT, and ESS methodologies, including temperature, vibration, humidity, and power cycling testsExperience defining, sourcing, and commissioning test systems and Automated Test Equipment (ATE)Experience troubleshooting and maintaining test systems and ATEHands-on experience with data acquisition, sensors, test instrumentation, and test control systemsFamiliarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) or platforms (e.g., LabVIEW) for test automationStrong cross-functional communication skills with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teamsExperience working with high-voltage systems and applying safe lab practicesAbove and Beyond Qualifications
3-5 years experience in the Aerospace or EV industryExperience launching or expanding a production test cell or lab environmentCAD experience for test fixture design and layoutKnowledge of AS9100, FAA compliance frameworks, or other aerospace production quality systemsExperience working with MES or other traceability and manufacturing systemsAbility to author SOPs and train test operators on procedures and equipment usagePhysical Demands and Work Environment

$90,000 - $120,000 a year. The wage listed reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and evolving needs of the role.
