Job Summary : Production Maintenance Technician
The role of Production Maintenance Technician is crucial for maintaining industrial machinery, utilizing both hand and power tools. Responsibilities include moving, assembling, installing, and dismantling machinery. The technician performs preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. They follow standard procedures to monitor equipment performance, safety, and effectiveness. Additionally, the technician conducts equipment failure analysis to execute both preventive and unplanned maintenance. Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems is also part of their duties. The technician logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system and adheres to all safety procedures.
Compensation : $22.50-$25.00 depending on shift and experience
Schedule : Day Shift, Night Shift, or Split Shift
Job Duties : Production Maintenance Technician
- Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment (mechanical and electrical) to enhance efficiency and prevent malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly repairs.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions (mechanical and electrical) and locate the source of problems by examining the equipment
- Assist in line changes and process improvements.
- Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids as needed, modify equipment as necessary, and replace parts and components as required.
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing, and facilities.
- Control downtime by educating production employees on routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring their compliance.
- Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures
- Maintain a positive work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients, and management.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including proper lockout / tagout procedures.

Qualifications : Production Maintenance Technician
