Salary : Position Summary :
In support of the Companys primary and single most important objective which is TO GET AND KEEP PROFITABLE CUSTOMERS, this individual is responsible for coordinating and scheduling production activities across all manufacturing jobs, both onsite and offsite. This role ensures timely arrival of materials and equipment, monitors job progress, provides updates to leadership through reports, images, and visual timelines, and identifies upcoming production steps to maintain workflow efficiency. Successes of the position are measured via the following key indicators :
- Working safely and meeting all environmental standards of customer, OSHA, and employer
- Accuracy of production schedules and progress tracking
- Timely reporting of project status, completion percentages, and resource requirements
- Effective communication and coordination between departments to resolve scheduling conflicts
Position Responsibilities :
Maintain detailed production schedules for all jobs, ensuring alignment with operational prioritiesTrack progress of all jobs, including percentage completion, milestones, and expected timelines for completionMaintain databases of equipment and material arrivals, production resources, and job-specific detailsPrepare visual reports, dashboards, and graphics that summarize job status, upcoming steps, and potential bottlenecksCoordinate with project managers, engineering, and shop floor teams to optimize scheduling and resource allocationCommunicate job progress and updates regularly to the VP of OperationsIdentify potential delays or issues and proactively recommend solutions to maintain production timelinesSupport demand forecasting and resource planning activitiesCoordination with procurement and inventory management to ensure performance to timelinesFocus on cost efficiency and continuous improvementDrive production momentum by proactively expediting workflows, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring teams meet critical deadlines to keep operations on track and ahead of schedulePhysical Requirements :
Ability to spend extended periods at a computer for scheduling and reportingOccasional walking through the production floor to assess job progressAbility to lift and move up to 25 lbs occasionally when handling job-related materials or reportsWorking Conditions :

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or manufacturing operations minimumStrong knowledge of production scheduling systems and project management toolsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, databases, and reporting / dashboard toolsExperience with ERP toolsExperience with reporting tools, i.e. Power BIExperience with project planning tools, i.e. Microsoft ProjectExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesAbility to successfully expedite theDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiencyProven ability to expedite production processes by identifying delays, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving timely execution to meet critical deadlines
