Summary :

Reporting to the Director of Cardiac Imaging, the Cardiac Sonographer is a critical member of the care team. This role is responsible for preparing patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures and performing full trans-thoracic echocardiography procedures.

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Location : Will float between two locations in Las Vegas, NV

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Perform echocardiographic exams using 2-D imaging, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler
  • Prepare preliminary reports for physician review
  • Utilize ultrasound enhancing agents and perform saline contrast studies as needed
  • Explain procedures clearly to members and address concerns
  • Accurately enter test data and patient information into clinical systems

Education & Experience :

  • Current state license(s), including RDMS, medical imaging permit, and BLS certification
  • Credentialed as RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI)
  • Minimum of 2 years as an Imaging Tech
