CPA Technical Accounting Director

A company is looking for a Technical Accounting Director to support its finance team by managing complex technical accounting and financial reporting issues.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements

Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations

Drive improvements in the external reporting process and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Certified Public Accountant

10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting

In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and SOX

Big 4 accounting advisory or auditing experience
