Position Title : Assembly Technician I

Employment Type : Full-Time

Work Location : Deland, FL (In-Person)

Compensation : $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule : Day shift (8 hours), M-F

Summary

We are looking for an assembly technician to work in a manufacturing setting at our Deland, FL location. Assembly technicians will assist in the assembly of weatherproof sound attenuated enclosures for power generation systems. This individual will need to be a dependable team player who can multi-task with exceptional communication skills. The ability to work safely alone and around others is essential to this position. If you are a detailed oriented self-starter who can take initiative and prioritize, and you have the required skill set and knowledge we want you!

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install aluminum skins using mechanical fasteners and impact and hand tools.
• Install refrigerator type doors and hardware on enclosures.
• Secure generators on UL 142 aboveground fuel tanks.
• Secure assembled enclosures over generators and tanks and finishing trim.
• Install exhaust systems with impact and torque wrenches.
• Follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work area and tools.
• Various other duties as required, directed, or assigned.
