Auris Health Inc., part of Johnson & Johnson Medtech Surgery, is recruiting for a Director of Strategic Sourcing. This role is located in Santa Clara, CA, with an expectation of 5 days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities

Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws / regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines, this position is responsible for :

• Creation of short and long term sourcing strategies for direct and indirect products / services
• Supplier development, negotiation, contract execution, and performance management
• Developing and deploying predictive analytic tools to optimize spend, risk, and lead time
• Attracting & developing talent
• Utilization of market analysis, competitive reviews, & benchmarking to influence source strategy
• Support of quality improvement inside J&J and at supplier partners
• Budget creation, spend management, and year over year cost savings
• Tactical procurement of components / products and supplier performance management in support of integrated business plan objectives for P&L and balance sheet goals
• Tactical negotiation and performance management of indirect suppliers
• Leveraging and contribution to J&J Procurement strategies

Qualifications

Education : A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and / or equivalent University degree in Engineering; technical field required. Focused degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $167,000 - $289,800 / yr.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency : Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and / or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs : medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program. Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits : Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year; Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year (Washington residents : 56 hours); Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year; Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth / adoption / foster care of a child; Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member; Caregiver Leave – 10 days; Volunteer Leave – 4 days; Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours.
