Basesix is currently looking for a Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team.

Skills and Responsibilities

Completing inspections to ensure that building fire alarm systems comply with all local, state, and federal laws

Assisting with deployment planning

Driving and operating vehicles and other machinery

  • Traveling to various customer work sites throughout the workday / workweek
  • Operating power tools and equipment
  • Lifting and carrying items weighting up to 50 lbs.
  • Climbing and working on ladders, scaffolds, and other elevated work surfaces

Includes frequent use of stairs

  • Other items as needed

    • Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Fire Alarm Inspections
  • NICET certifications or equivalent required
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Notifier and Honeywell systems is preferred
  • Ability to lead inspection teams and oversee inspection projects
  • Familiarity with inspection reporting and regulatory compliance
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to communicate with customers, management and other team members
  • Valid Driver's License
