Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to support both clinical and administrative tasks in our orthopedic clinic. Medical Assistants will work under the supervision of physicians and nurses in a fast-paced environment, helping to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure smooth clinical operations. Shifts available : days (no weekends). Employment type : full time. Hours : 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm. Location : Providence Medical Group Bonner Springs, KS (Family Practice). Travel is required for this position. You will float between our Bonner Springs and Basheor, KS locations. Mileage is paid.

Responsibilities :

• Greet and prepare patients for orthopedic examinations and procedures
• Record patient history, vital signs, and clinic specific information
• Instruct patients on medication regimens
• Facilitate diagnostic tests, imaging tests (e.g., X-rays, MRIs) and ensure accurate documentation of results
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including sterilization and inventory management of medical supplies and equipment
• Schedule patient appointments, manage charts, and update EHR systems with patient information
