Gastroenterology Physician

Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterologist in Covington, GA Join a leading gastroenterology practice in the picturesque city of Covington, Georgia. East Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates is expanding and looking for dedicated physicians to cover the Conyers, Covington, and Oconee Medical Offices. Located just 25 minutes from downtown Atlanta and near the serene Lake Oconee, this practice is committed to providing top-notch, compassionate healthcare while fostering a culture of innovation and clinical excellence. Job Responsibilities : Deliver high-quality care to patients, managing approximately 15-18 patients per day. Perform essential services and procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoid Banding, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Infusion, Telehealth, TIF , and Video Capsule Endoscopy. Participate in a collaborative, supportive practice environment with a total of 3 MD / DOs and 3 Advanced Practice Providers. Follow a Monday to Friday schedule with a 1 : 4 hospital call rotation. Qualifications : Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (Required). Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Required). Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) (Required). Malpractice history should be clean (Preferred). DEA certification required prior to start. License and Certification Requirements : Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology (Required). Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine (Required). Valid Georgia medical license or the willingness to obtain (Required). DEA certification must be obtained before employment starts.
