Security Officer - Healthcare Access Driver

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Access Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. Your presence helps to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $17.65 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by performing access control procedures in accordance with site-specific policies for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including both the interior and perimeter of the healthcare location, to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate and as directed by Allied Universal and / or site management.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work collaboratively with onsite personnel and other Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
