Position Overview :

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to become a key member of our finance team. As an AP Accountant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations, processing vendor invoices, and contributing to month-end and year-end closings. With a hybrid work schedule, this role offers the flexibility of both in-office and remote work, providing the perfect balance for professional growth and personal life.

Key Responsibilities :

Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Manage and maintain accounts payable ledger.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payment cycles.

Assist with month-end close, including preparing necessary accruals and reports.

Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary documentation and resolve issues.

Assist with audits and respond to auditor requests related to accounts payable.

Help with the implementation and improvement of AP processes and controls.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
