The Patient Care Technician plays a pivotal role in providing quality care to patients.
This role involves performing tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
The Technician will work closely with the nursing team to ensure that all patient needs are met effectively and efficiently.
Collaboration with healthcare professionals is essential in this position.
The Technician will develop a comprehensive understanding of patient care protocols.
Assisting in implementing treatments and interventions as directed by the nursing staff is a key responsibility.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Strong interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this role.
The ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial.
Candidates must be able to adapt to multiple changing priorities.
Care must be respectful of and responsive to patient values in clinical decision making.
