Casa Cipriani New York is a private members club located in the Battery Maritime Building, within a larger project called ‘Casa Cipriani South Street’ which incorporates over 20,000 square feet of events space, a 47-room luxury hotel and extensive fitness and wellness facility. The site is a historic 1906 Beaux-Arts style building on the southernmost tip of Manhattan Island with striking views overlooking the East River of the Brooklyn Bridge to one side and the Statue of Liberty to the other.
Casa Cipriani New York has become one of the city’s most sought-after membership clubs since opening in September of 2021 and it is anticipated that further Casa Cipriani sites will open up soon in other cities in the United States and overseas, access to which will be granted to existing members on preferential terms as the club grows its national and international reach.
POSITION PURPOSE : To deliver the highest standard of care and service to all members and guests in our Casa Cipriani Spa Setting.
Significant schedule flexibility will be required to meet business needs (including weekends)

- Undertake and execute treatment procedures, always ensuring up-to-date knowledge.
- Gain an understanding and proactively work towards the achievement of departmental financial and operational targets.
- Meet and exceed sales and service goals.
- Take ownership and be responsible for ensuring all administration procedures regarding client care and treatments are carried out, including consultation forms, up-to-date medical history, before and after photographs, signed consent, and detailed client treatment records.
- Ensure that iPads are placed to charge at the end of your shift for the next Therapist on shift.
- Work closely with the Spa Manager and department lead to identify training & development needs and opportunities on an ongoing basis.
- Share information and work effectively with team members to establish and support a positive and fun team environment.
- Interact regularly with team members cross-functionally to ensure overall awareness of activities within the department.
- Maintain standards of personal appearance, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with Company and departmental requirements.
- Ensure your working environment and equipment are kept clean and tidy, always adhering to treatment room standards.
- Maintain treatment equipment as specified and report any breakages or faults to the manager.
- To communicate effectively with all other departments.
- To attend monthly team meetings and training sessions.
- To understand and adhere to the Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities Policies.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :
Active New York State Massage Therapy LicenseMaintain an active CPR certification in addition to active continuing education participation.Prefer 2-3 years in related experience and / or training in a Luxury Spa Environment.All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Company standards.Intent and Function of Job Descriptions
