Azure Cloud Architect
\n
\nWe are looking for a driven Cloud Architect to join our expanding platform engineering team. This team is responsible for managing public cloud environments, enhancing DevOps practices, and supporting the companies real-time syndicated loan data platform. We are seeking someone with strong expertise in Azure, cloud-native applications, distributed systems, infrastructure-as-code, CI / CD pipelines, and modern observability practices.

\nThe company is located in New York, NY and will be a hybrid model of 3 days onsite a week.
\n
\n What You Will Be Doing : \n
- Define, build, document, and continually optimize cloud standards, methodologies, and operational processes.
- Design, implement, and manage Azure EntraID to strengthen identity and access management across the enterprise.
- Lead deployment and administration of Single Sign-On (SSO) to improve secure authentication experiences.
- Proactively monitor cloud environments, establish incident response strategies, and implement observability frameworks to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Enhance incident response by leveraging observability and event management practices to reduce mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to restore (MTTR).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to advance the organization’s cloud adoption roadmap and long-term strategy.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, evaluating innovative solutions that add business value and maintain competitive advantage.
- Oversee cloud cost management, including forecasting and optimization.
- Provide expert support for infrastructure upgrades and releases, including occasional weekend maintenance.
- Lead disaster recovery planning, implementation, and validation to ensure continuity and resilience.
\n \n Required Skills & Experience :
5+ years of experience designing and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, networking, and cloud architecture best practices.Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and platforms.3+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP).3+ years working with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.2+ years of experience coding in at least one language (Bash, Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or .NET).2+ years working with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).1+ years developing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, etc.Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.\n \n Desired Skills & Experience :
Azure cloud certifications.Experience with Azure AD B2C.\n \n
