Job Description
Our client is looking to add a Procurement Manager to their team in Columbia, SC . This position will manage the acquisition of supplies, services, and equipment through formal contracts to support programs. Oversee all phases of contract development and administration.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and manage bids / RFPs, solicit proposals, and award contracts.
- Develop solicitations of $25,000+ including required clauses and advertising.
- Evaluate bids, determine bidder responsibility, and select contract awards.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee contract administration, including defaults or terminations.
- Coordinate with vendors and departments on procurement needs.
- Maintain vendor lists, track market trends, and attend product / vendor expos.
- Perform data entry, generate reports, and process purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulations.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, public finance, procurement, or related field4+ years of expereince in procurementExcellent MS Excel SkillsTeam player attitudeHours :
