We're hiring a Press Brake Operator to help shape high-quality steel components used in substations and transmission lines. In this role, you'll read blueprints, enter and adjust machine data, ensure accurate setup, and inspect your work with precision-all while upholding the safety and quality standards Klute is known for.

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

Operate the Press Brake in an accurate and timely manner while producing quality product.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter the necessary data into the Press Brake computer to operate the machine accurately. Adjust and correct machine set-ups to eliminate product defects.
• Ensure the correct raw material is supplied before starting a production run.
• Set up, understand and proficiently operate all press controls.
• Ensure all safety guards and procedures are in place prior to operating the Press Brake.
• Demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors as required by Klute Inc. safety policies and procedures. High awareness for safety at all times is required.
• Complete the required reports and record the appropriate data with accuracy.
• Ensure a high standard product by inspecting all produced work for quality.
• Read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets without assistance.
