Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Hire and lead a team of hourly employees to support the business operation
- Accomplish goals while focusing with utmost importance on Safety, maintaining high employee morale, and employee engagement
- Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans
- Drive daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and external customer commitments
- Develop and implement a continuous improvement strategy to improve safety, service, and quality, while reducing cycle times, costs, and in-process inventory levels
- Lead improvement project initiatives with a Lean focus
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross functional leadership team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Prior warehouse or manufacturing / leadership experience and trainingAbility to build and lead a team through changeStrong analytical, problem solving, and project management skillsSix Sigma or equivalent quality trainingStrong organizational skillsAbility to work without direct supervisionStrong understanding of business processes in a service environmentAbility to manage contract resourcesStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsPhysical Demands : (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environmentAnnual salary, depending on experience $70,000 to $80,000
