Job Details :

We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional who possesses a strong understanding of Machine Maintenance Tech, Pneumatics, Motors, and Repair. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery, minimizing downtime, and maintaining our equipment in top-notch condition. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them in a timely manner.
  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
  • Understand and implement complex machinery operations, including pneumatics and motors.
  • Maintain detailed records of performed work, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to optimize performance and output.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role in the Engineering industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of Machine Maintenance Tech, Pneumatics, Motors, and Repair.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with machinery and equipment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports, order parts, and maintain records.
  • Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required.
