Job Summary :
Americo is seeking a full-time Supervisor for our Operations Business & Financial Controls Team. This role exists to ensure that day-to-day business activities and processing is conducted efficiently and effectively, aligning with Americo’s operational goals and strategies. This position is essential for reviewing controls across the department, streamlining operational audits / reviews, and addressing challenges promptly, thereby supporting the organization's success in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coaching, developing, and training associates
- Partner with Internal Audit to oversee Operations audit work
- Lead and / or be a subject matter expert (SME) on Operations projects
- Track Associate performance and provide feedback
- Oversight of key compliance matters including but not limited to business continuity, vendor management, and market conduct remediation audits
- Oversight of third party administrators and vendor contract review process
- Contribute to annual operations budget development
Experience and Qualifications :
Ability to define responsibilities, delegate tasks, communicate departmental vision, and motivate team membersProficient in MS Suite, including Excel and WordWorking knowledge of reporting tools (Tableau, SSRS, Power BI)Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing deadlinesLife insurance and annuity industry knowledge preferred4 year college education or comparable work experience required#AMERICO
