Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based diagnostic radiology department serving ER, OR, and inpatients Care for both young and geriatric patients Assigned areas may include ER, OR, or portable x-ray throughout the hospital Uses GE and Carestream equipment as well as OEC C-Arms Cerner EMR is used; Epic is not utilized Night shift schedule : 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating every other weekend No on-call requirement Floating to sister hospital may be required based on departmental need Perform radiologic procedures under direction of a radiologist including positioning, radiation safety, and accurate imaging Care for patients in a high acuity, trauma care environment Responsible for preparing and stocking procedure rooms and maintaining equipment Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols May administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions when appropriate Expected to mentor or train less experienced staff or students as needed Documentation in Cerner EMR and PACS, with attention to image quality and record completeness Professional attire required per hospital dress code Must complete all pre-employment testing, background check, and drug screening as directed Requirements Active ARRT Radiography certification required BCLS (AHA) certification required Minimum of 2 years recent radiology technologist experience required Must have trauma level I or II and operating room experience Active Michigan Radiology license required if applicable High school diploma or GED equivalent required Experience operating GE, Carestream, and OEC C-Arm equipment preferred Must complete onsite online modules and receive a passing score prior to start COVID vaccination required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622166.
