I'm currently partnering with a well-established organization in the area that is seeking to hire a Director of Accounting. They offer a hybrid work schedule.

- Provide financial oversight for the organization and be responsible for the entire range of financial management, from daily operations to high-level management :
- Maintain accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and ensure compliance with Federal, State, local, and other financial, tax reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, and financial systems to ensure the efficient functioning and documentation of all financial transactions including payroll.
- Monitor monthly performance of receivables and payables to ensure compliance with the adopted annual budget and program appropriations.
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements, reports, and annual operating budgets to support the Company's mission of empowering survivors and advancing education and prevention efforts.
- Lead the annual audit process and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures throughout the organization
- Manage organizational cash flow, forecasting, and grant reporting, including federal, state, and foundation grants, in alignment with the Company's commitment to supporting survivors and providing comprehensive services.
- Collaborate with program and leadership teams to ensure timely grant proposal and report submissions, supporting the Company's diverse range of services from crisis intervention to community education.
- Prepare, communicate, and present financial matters to the Board, ensuring transparency and accountability in support of the Company's vision and mission
Requirements :
