About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at an outpatient clinic in Arizona. This opportunity begins on Dec 22, 2025, with a Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule. Providers will care for a variety of walk-in patients due to the clinic's remote setting and distance from the nearest emergency department.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive outpatient care for a broad patient population

Manage acute walk-in cases given the clinic's remote location

Conduct physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and implement treatment plans

Prescribe medications and manage chronic health issues

Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care

Utilize the RPMS EMR system for patient documentation

Adhere to clinic policies and protocols

Additional Information

IHS experience preferred but not required

Must have active Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona or eligible state

Required certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA registration
