The Mission : Command & Drive Growth
As the Director of Service, you will be the chief architect and leader overseeing all fire sprinkler service and inspection processes and personnel. You'll be tasked with assessing and developing the current organization while crafting a forward-looking strategy for sustained financial health and operational excellence. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit and a hands-on approach to business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operational & Financial Oversight : Manage and adhere to the service operations budget, monitoring and reporting on critical metrics including revenue, gross margin, and productivity .
- Strategic Growth : Develop and implement processes to seamlessly convert installation clients to inspection sales, and actively assist in expanding the alarm, extinguisher, and suppression service business. Seek out and coordinate multi-office premier or national accounts .
- Team Leadership & Development : Lead, manage, and develop multiple service and inspection teams across the company. Ensure ongoing training, quality control, and adherence to our core values. Reduce turnover and increase retention within the division.
- Process & Technology Improvement : Propose and onboard new technology and continuously improve processes to boost overall productivity and profitability, including updating the sales pricing program.
- Compliance & Safety : Oversee audits and work instruction improvements, ensuring regulatory integrity and delivering comprehensive safety and risk assessment training to all team members.
What You'll Bring
Experience : 5+ years in a leadership role, managing and developing multiple teams, with a strong background in fire and life safety (fire sprinkler and / or fire alarm preferred).Business Acumen : A proven leader in the industrial services sector with successful financial and operational performance, focused on implementing strategy and driving commercial growth.Commitment to Excellence : Deep familiarity with technical references and codes, and a fierce dedication to Safety First, Integrity, and Customer Focus .Travel : Ability to travel up to 40% to other offices for team support and account coordination.
