As a Security Professional - Hospital Unarmed Patrol in Monroeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to support a secure environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also respond to various situations with professionalism and communicate clearly with all individuals on site. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Tue 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Wed 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents that may impact the operations of the healthcare location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and maintaining a visible presence in designated areas.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and / or lockdowns as directed.
  • Document all security-related activities, incidents, and / or issues in daily reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and / or client representatives.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be able to provide proof of vaccination as required by hospital policies.
  • Must be able to work in environments that may include hospital morgue areas.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to assist with restraining individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
