Position Overview :
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our dynamic men's apparel buying team. This role supports the buying office in ensuring the smooth execution of merchandising strategies and operational tasks. As a Merchandise Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with buyers and vendors to assist in order management. This is a hybrid position with remote work from home 2-3 days per week and 2-3 days per week from our Fullerton, California office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Order Management : Support the buying team in creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in product details, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Accounts Payable : Key point person to validate incoming invoices prior to payments being processed.
- Data Management : Enter and update product information in merchandising systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date for assortment plans, pricing, and inventory tracking.
- Sample Coordination : Track, organize, and manage product samples for meetings, photo shoots, and seasonal line reviews. Maintain the sample closet to ensure it is up-to-date and accessible.
- Vendor Communication : Assist with sample requests, tracking, follow-ups, and resolving issues related to orders, deliveries, or product information.
- Reporting : Generate weekly sales and inventory reports to track product performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
- Meeting Preparation : Prepare materials and supplies for internal and vendor meetings.
Qualifications :
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (google sheets)Strong organizational skills with the ability to autonomously keep track of various deadlines from multiple stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on attention to detail.Reliable transportation to get to our Fullerton office 2-3 times a week.Any experience in a retail buying office or merchandising role is a plus but not required- we will teach you the industry!Why Join Stately :

Compensation : The expected hourly compensation for this role $20-22 / hour, depending on experience and location.
