We are looking for an experienced IT Director to oversee financial systems and drive technology strategies that align with organizational goals. Based in San Juan Capistrano, California, this role is pivotal in managing critical systems, leading teams, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial processes and technology.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for financial systems that supports organizational objectives.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment and effective execution of financial systems strategies.
• Manage the administration, configuration, and performance of financial systems such as Oracle Hyperion, Epicor ERP, Zuora, and industry-specific billing platforms.
• Lead efforts to design and implement integrations across financial systems using APIs and middleware solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal audit, finance, and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and smooth financial close cycles.
• Supervise a team of systems analysts, developers, and external consultants to achieve project and operational goals.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs).
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and cost-saving measures.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in financial systems and SaaS platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, including 5 years focused on financial systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Hyperion, Epicor ERP, and Zuora platforms.
• Familiarity with financial processes, data governance, and revenue recognition standards.
• Experience in the trade show, events, or media industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and project management skills, with proven stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in integrating financial systems using APIs and middleware solutions.
