Journeyman Electrician

Position Overview :

Seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate devices according to NEC codes and company standards.

Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Perform testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.

Collaborate with apprentices, foremen, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and working order.

Qualifications :

Valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician License required.

Minimum 4+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.

Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state / local regulations.

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.

Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and hand / power tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
