Project Manager – Glass

What You'll Do
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they meet customer expectations and organizational goals within budget and timeline constraints. You'll create and implement project plans, assign and coordinate staff duties, and manage labor and materials. You'll work with estimators to analyze blueprints and specifications, prepare bids, and negotiate contracts. You'll maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You'll also monitor supplier performance, oversee documentation, and contribute to solution design, testing, and training. This role includes mentoring staff, evaluating performance data, and helping shape project management standards.
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need strong organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to read architectural blueprints, and experience in contract management and negotiation. A bachelor's degree in business or construction management is preferred, along with at least three years of construction project management experience-ideally in the glass and glazing industry. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong math and measurement skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Flexibility to work extra hours based on project demands is required.
