Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU / PICU / PEDS
Location : Cleveland, OH
Duration : 12 weeks (Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025)
Shift : Day, 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)
Job Responsibilities and Required / Preferred Skills and Requirements :
Provide advanced respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and cardiac ICU patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.Manage ventilators, administer respiratory treatments, and perform airway management for critically ill infants and children.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes across high-acuity environments.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation following hospital and regulatory standards.Float as needed to Shaker Children’s Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU.Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and emergency protocols.Required Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU, PICU, and / or high-level pediatric respiratory care (Level IV NICU experience required).Active Ohio RRT license (must be in hand prior to start).Certifications : NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS (all required).Ability to float between pediatric and neonatal critical care units as needed.Must complete two fingerprintings —one onsite (prior to start) and one through the agency.COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions accepted); flu vaccination required (no exemptions).Preferred Skills :
Experience with advanced neonatal and pediatric ventilation techniques.Strong critical care and emergency response skills.General :
May float to multiple hospital campuses.All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed during submission and interview.High-level pediatric and neonatal critical care environment.About HonorVet Technologies
