Legal Administrative Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a growing mid-sized Portland law firm who is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This role serves as the welcoming face of the firm and a central resource for attorneys, staff, and clients. The position combines consistent front desk coverage with project assistance, client intake backup, and administrative support.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors, answering phones, and assisting clients professionally
- Manage front desk operations, including mail processing, conference room coordination, and supply ordering
- Support firm events by arranging lunches, preparing meeting materials, and assisting with staff meetings and internal projects
- Scan, organize, and prepare documents, presentations, and other materials as needed
- Provide occasional backup for client intake and assist the Firm Administrator with scheduling, task follow-up, and special projects
Qualifications :
Friendly, professional, and reliable with strong communication and problem-solving skills1+ years of administrative, receptionist, or client-facing experience (law firm or professional services experience preferred)Associate or Bachelor's degree requiredProficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and virtual meeting platformsAbility to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and good judgmentBenefits :
