Job Summary

The Senior General Liability Claims Representative (Litigated Bodily Injury) is responsible for managing and resolving complex bodily injury claims arising under business owner and related liability policies. This role involves in-depth coverage analysis, strategic coordination with defense counsel, and clear, timely communication with all stakeholders. Strong writing, analytical and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure accurate claim evaluation and effective resolution.

Responsibilities

• Handle an active caseload of general liability bodily injury claims under Business Owners Policy, Garagekeepers, Hired / Non-Owned Auto, Auto Services and other industry forms
• Analyze coverage issues and draft reservation of rights, denial and coverage opinion letters
• Investigate new loss notices and claim tenders; evaluate liability and damages
• Manage litigated claims from suit filing through resolution, coordinating strategy with defense counsel
• Set and review reserves in collaboration with team to ensure financial accuracy
• Monitor and control allocated loss adjustment expenses (ALAE) using sound judgment
• Document claim activity and decisions thoroughly in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintain required adjuster licenses and stay current on industry forms and regulations
